What is "Retargeting"?

Retargeting, also known as remarketing, is a form of online advertising that can help you keep your brand in front of qualified website traffic after they leave. For most websites, only 2% of traffic converts on the first visit. Retargeting is a highly effective tool designed to help companies reach the 98% of users who don’t convert right away.

How does it work?

Retargeting is a cookie-based technology that uses a simple Javascript code to target our audience across the web and on social media, allowing us to serve your ads to qualified users that have visited the Casual Living website in the past 60 days. Typically, retargeting ads are in the form of banner ads - but we can also incorporate video and search retargeting.

Best Practices

The nature of retargeting, is that client ads serve across thousands of potential websites in our ad network - all of which have very different web designs and layouts. Submitting all 6 ad sizes requested will provide the highest placement rate and allow the system to best optimize your ad campaign for performance. Also keep in mind that your ads will show on mobile devices. The 300x250, 320x50 and 300x50 ad sizes will serve mostly on mobile. Keep the message simple and the text as large and easy-to-read as possible.
